Learn about Solar Power at the National Solar Tour

Who: Solar presentation at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse

What: The National Solar Tour is the weekend of October 6th and 7th. All across the country people and organizations will be holding open houses for the public to stop by and see first hand how solar power works for the home owner. Ypsilanti has been hosting a local tour for the past 12 years and will again this year. Thinking about solar power for your home or office? Stop by and learn about how it works and the economics of solar power. Pricing continue to drop and solar is more affordable then ever. Bring your power bill to get an estimate of what it would cost to be 100% solar power. Dave will have a list of solar contractors that can make it happen. Then drive/bike/walk around Ypsilanti and see about three dozen solar installations up close.

When:  Sunday October 7th, 2018   10:00am – 4:00pm, stop by any time.

Where:
Ypsilanti Freighthouse at 100 Market Place, Ypsilanti, MI 48198
